Daily goals. 1/26

• finish my three bench marks completely, then at least get started on the 4th.

As for who this Ohpedia might be useful to, I suppose it'd be good for other high schoolers trying to learn the same as what I am currently learning to finish these Ohpedia entrees. They'd be able to use the site to help them in school, being that these are the standards for schools of all of the state of Florida, whether they're in public, private, or homeschool. Since this page will more than likely be for mainly children 12th grade and below, I should put this in context easy to understand, not because tht way they can comprehend it, but because that way they can memorize the information I'm giving in an easier fashion.

Yes I achieved my goals, because it was to completely finish my project planning form, which I did.  As a learner I've noticed about myself that if I'm not distracted, I can finish my work really well. One thing that went smoothly today was that I have started working on the second portion of my project ( the part past the planning.) Next time I work on PBL I need to work more efficiently. I'm not exactly sure yet what I need help with on friday. I would say I was a fairly good group worker.

Reflection (1.12.11)

Today was my first full day of the OH institute, and I have to admit throughout some parts I was definitely a little confused, but once I understood the concept of project planning it went along much smoother. The project planning was rather successful, Chase and I figured what standard we'd work on for our project,  our essential question, and parts of our things to include. The rubric was one thing a had a little trouble with, but I then figured out what to do shortly after. Defining metacognition was my favorite writing portion of today because I like defining new words. After todays work, I am excited to spend the rest of the year here at the OH Institute. My next steps with finishing planning my project would be to finish things to include in the entry (I will most likely do it for homework, then go over it with Chase tomorrow) then look for experts in universities and their contact information. I can't think of any questions at the moment, but if I think of any I'll contact you guys!
